Natalie Alcala is a writer, founder, creator, DJ, and proud Latina. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Natalie first made her mark on the industry as a style tastemaker, managing Racked LA as its senior editor and freelancing for a variety of noteworthy publications, including Vogue, Elle, Refinery29, and Los Angeles Magazine. She's currently a frequent contributor to The Hollywood Reporter and has written viral essays for Harper's Bazaar and Business Insider.
In 2014, Natalie launched Fashion Mamas — the first and leading members-only community for dynamic and diverse mothers who work in creative industries. Now celebrating nearly ten years in business, the network is home to 600 members worldwide and garners a combined member social reach of more than 20 million followers. Named a "Power Mom" by Red Tricycle and "LA Power Gal" by Los Angeles Confidential, Natalie has led her pioneering business to become widely influential in the motherhood space, with features in WWD, Los Angeles Times, InStyle, People, Create & Cultivate, Brit+Co, Vice, Thrillist, Motherly, and more.
Ten years after launching Fashion Mamas, Natalie took her love for music to the next level by becoming a DJ. Today, DJ Natalina keeps the crowd grooving to a unique mix of genres, from House to Hip-Hop to today’s top bangers. She’s played at a variety of top venues in Los Angeles — including Mama Shelter, The Short Stop, The Friend, Love Hour, and Moon Room — as well as brand events and private parties.
On the creator side, Natalie is known for producing authentic and engaging content for brands including Fenty Beauty, Savage x Fenty, Fenty Hair, Koolaburra by UGG, and POOSH.
